Trulieve needed to reimagine their digital footprint and put best-in-class modern digital commerce solutions at the forefront of their customer experience.
Top initiatives included an upgrade to mobile performance, an integrated and holistic omnichannel experience with ROPIS (reserve online, pickup in-store) function, a full-service computer kiosk allowing in-store pickup moments after arrival, a separate kiosk with low inventory and on-sale items at the specific brick-and-mortar location customers are shopping, and a composable enabled global reference build iterated to match different state statutes and regulations.
All these components of Trulieve’s commerce package had to be scalable to Trulieve’s ascendant growth and impressive projections while maintaining an adaptable project methodology able to accommodate changes in strategy or business execution.

Shopping with Real-Time Inventory Updates
Shopping Trulieve offers a fully omnichannel experience. Besides discovering and exploring products on the website, ROPIS (reserve online, pickup in-store) is available, so customers can patiently decide what they want before picking it up at their nearest dispensary.
Digital Retail Menu codes are a new feature for customers to purchase special items in-store only. While shoppers are in a dispensary and waiting on their budtenders, there will be kiosks with QR codes that when scanned by their phone, will take customers to a real-time updated list of low inventory and discounted products at that location only. Customers can see products soon to be unavailable and purchase them before they’re gone.
The Digital Retail Menu also benefits Trulieve’s inventory in that they can now close out low inventory items very quickly. Due to their industry, store-to-store product availability changes drastically, and the Digital Retail Menu codes help facilitate the speedy integration of new products by clearing out older ones.
Upgraded POS System Yields Stability and Site Performance
Trulieve first contacted Corra because of site stability issues. Corra solved those prior stability issues by upgrading the POS system to OMS+. The original POS system was a plug-in to Magento. With the scope of products offered and the ever-increasing traffic of their site, this plug-in wasn’t sufficiently capable. With Corra’s recommendation of OMS+ functioning, the site can handle the traffic and drive revenue.
