A PWA Solution for Off-Road Enthusiasts
Family-owned and run SuperATV has been servicing all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and utility task vehicles (UTV) with aftermarket parts and accessories since 2003. What began as a makeshift garage warehouse and shipping center is now half a million square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space that serves over 3000 dealerships. Their product line includes everything from axles to long travel kits for Polaris, Can-Am, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Textron/Arctic Cat, John Deere, and other brands. They have a team of designers, engineers, and fabricators who can turn dreams into prototypes in a matter of days, allowing them to produce high-quality parts and accessories at competitive prices faster than anybody else.

Attracting and Retaining a Mobile Culture
SuperATVs traffic was 72% mobile, so they needed a system in place that was fast and allowed the freedom to update multiple touchpoints at once seamlessly. Trapped on a monolithic system, they would need a migration to Adobe Commerce and a lighting-fast progressive web app (PWA) to handle their vast content library of complex accessories requiring informative push notifications. Also, a wholly redesigned UX experience capable of retaining a new pandemic-era demographic of 30 to 40-year-old early mobile adopters while satisfying existing customers. Corra and SuperATV knew that a PWA built right would offer a rich offline experience, enhanced user journey, and a purchase path as fast and efficient as the vehicles they service.
PWA, THE FIRST STEP TOWARD FUTURE-PROOF GROWTH
Corra’s reputation as a Progressive Web Application (PWA) leader and a Platinum Partner within the Adobe Commerce ecosystem (only Adobe accredited PWA solution) stood out to SuperATV.
What is a PWA, and why are countless brands like SuperATV implementing them? Progressive Web Apps combine traditional website capabilities with the best features of mobile apps. However, with PWAs, there is no need to stop what a user is doing, visit an App Store and download. A PWA is one app-like website built for all screen sizes and is browser and platform agnostic, seamless on any touchpoint, and an icon is easy to add to your home screen. With hidden navigation and mobile-first design, background sync, offline browsing, push notifications, and so much more—PWAs prove that speed equals revenue.
PYLOT FRAMEWORK REVING THINGS UP!
Corra’s PWA framework, PYLOT, includes full integration with Adobe’s no-code CMS, PageBuilder, and state-of-the-art PDP and PLP templates. Built into PYLOT are popular payment methods like Apple Pay, offering users a streamlined mobile-friendly checkout experience. PYLOT’S out-of-the-box features and PWA accelerator allowed Corra to push the project to production faster, freeing up more time for customizing and refreshing the design experience.
A FITTING BRAND OVERHAUL
One of SuperATV’s goals in partnering with Corra was to improve customer engagement quality through a strategic UX overhaul that would exponentially increase site performance and lift revenue.
To meet the task, Corra boosted SuperATV’s direct-to-consumer site by migrating from a legacy system to Adobe Commerce Cloud and integrating with Yotpo’s Reviews & Ratings and Visual UGC (user-generated content). This implementation allows users to filter customer comments based on predefined tags or content, enhancing the overall experience and journey. While Visual UGC helps the marketing team capitalize on comments and reviews published by customers on social media, showcasing them on key shopping pages such as the homepage and product detail pages (PDPs).
SuperATV introduced a loyalty program powered by Yotpo to reward and encourage customers to revisit and shop again. This move improved customer return and retention rates by making it easier to find affordable, reliable products when and where they need them.
Yotpo's tools came into the project plan at a few different points to solve various needs. A core component of the customer experience on SuperATV is a feature called “My Garage.” Once customers input their vehicle, every single product on the site will add a stamp letting them know if it fits their machine, doesn‘t fit their machine, or is a “universal fit.”
The Reviews & Ratings feature lets customers share their experiences with fellow riders and expand on the quality and durability of parts purchased, broadening their current audience while reaching new customers. SuperATV’s marketing team drove additional traffic and retained existing customers by utilizing Visual UGC to tailor campaigns by adding relevant content based on customer feedback posted on social media.
A TAILORED EXPERIENCE INSIDE AND OUT
SuperATV prides itself on selling a lifestyle and experience along with aftermarket parts. They want to deliver a quick, tailored shop that allows riders to get back in the dirt and enjoy the great outdoors as soon as possible. Whether through their numerous content types like videos, news, events, tutorials, and more, the goal is not just to hold visitors on the site to make a purchase; it’s celebrating the culture and getting the products and resources to them quickly.
They can now offer a tailored customer experience with every interaction, from the website to customer support to the phone systems. The feel is more personal, and the information about a customer’s machine is accurate. This functionality has helped bring a hyper-personalized experience for new and returning customers that instantly delivers relevant content and products.
TotalCare Partnership Drives Growth
Aside from the core enhancement SuperATV received, their headless PWA architecture, which increased their mobile conversion rate and improved site performance, the other enhancements made to SuperATV’s commerce solution were a product of TotalCare, Corra’s budget-flexible managed services program.
TotalCare isn’t only a technical enhancement program though, it is a strategic partnership where Corra continually evaluates a brand’s ecommerce landscape, offering preventative issue analysis as well as innovative partnership.
SuperATV has seen significant growth since their TotalCare relationship began. Some of the enhancements they’ve received through the partnership include mini-cart functionality and optimization so that customers are always are of what is in their cart and how much they’re spending, which is proven to increase conversion rate; consistent Magento version upgrades to ensure they’re always running the most recent Magento offering; optimization of all third-party integrations to guarantee SuperATV’s extensions are running smoothly; and PLP upgrades and optimizations so that every page on the website is an opportunity to upsell and cross-promote personalized product recommendations.
No commerce solution-based relationship is complete without the technological and strategic support and guidance of a managed services program. Through enrolling in our TotalCare program, SuperATV has guaranteed their website will receive frequent updates and always offer peak performance.
Conversion rates and customer engagement have grown considerably due to Yotpo Reviews & Ratings and Visual UGC. Since its launch, superatv.com has seen a 6.8% increase in reviews overall and a high adoption rate on mobile. The significantly faster mobile-first experience has driven 74% of these reviews, doubling the visitor impression rate.
The lightning-fast PWA and its app-like device capabilities are discoverable and rank in the Google search. The marketing team now saves time with site updates without consulting IT from concerns that the backend will break. Important push notifications, faster page load time, designer-friendly PWA Studio, and CMS PageBuilder on Adobe Cloud, superatv.com is scalable and future-proof.
