For 25 years, THE WORTH COLLECTION Ltd., a well-known designer of luxury women’s apparel, has distinguished itself by rising above retail and providing its New York designed collections made from the finest European milled fabrics through a unique, personal shopping experience in the homes of its stylists. After expanding its multi-channel operation to include ecommerce sites for its two namesake brands – Worth New York and W by Worth – Worth realized it had an opportunity to create a more unified experience for its customers. The goal for Corra was to leverage the online channel to create an easy-to-use platform that would support the stylists' process while continuing to provide direct-to-consumer shopping capabilities.
Corra’s first step was to upgrade both sites to Magento Enterprise. Using best practices for responsive web design, the new sites were built to facilitate easy online purchases regardless of screen-size or device. Our customizations, such as Quick View functionality on the product listing pages and a single page checkout, also improved the purchase process. Furthermore, Corra incorporated unique functionality that encourages interaction between clients and stylists. Clients can now easily request personalized appointments, browse current and future season’s lines, and follow stylists on social media, while stylists can now easily display Worth products to customers and record their preferences using Lookbook and Wishlist functionalities.
