Now based in Mexico City, this luxury fashion house was originally created in 1914 by Domenico Scappino in Turin, Italy. The brand is renowned for the artisanal quality of its men’s ready-to-wear clothing, and has recently invested in creating highly personalized in-store experiences, which included implementing 3D technology in fitting rooms to perfectly calculate the measurements of its customers. Willing to offer the same luxurious service online, Scappino selected Corra to launch their first ecommerce site on Magento Enterprise 2.1.2
The brand-new experience runs on one instance with 3 store views: an ecommerce site in Spanish, one in English, and a third store view in Italian featuring a lookbook site. The Corra team created the structure of Scappino’s first ecommerce navigation and developed the best strategy to utilize one custom template for many purposes, such as the “How to Wear” and “Custom Tailoring” pages. The design of the site incorporates established brand elements into a very sophisticated look and feel highlighting their photography.
