Can color affect ecommerce conversion?

Apparently it can. According to a recent infographic KISSmetrics, studies show that people make a subconscious judgement about a product within 90 seconds of viewing it, with up to 90% of that assessment based on color alone. Furthermore, it presents case studies that show that simple changes like swapping in a new color for your call-to-action button might have a positive impact on conversion (you should always test with your own site and audience, of course).

But it’s not just color. A quick assessment with an experienced ecommerce designer could reveal several seemingly small design changes that have a major impact on conversion and usability.
