Corra Launches Redesign for Circa Lighting

2 Min Read

Corra is proud to announce another exciting ecommerce launch! We recently unveiled the brand new site for Circa Lighting, a retailer of beautiful high-end lighting solutions.

This client came to Corra looking for a total overhaul of their site, and our team provided complete visual and UX design, as well as development for the Magento Enterprise platform. Our developers took on big improvements to the backend, creating a one-of-a-kind site for this merchant. The project team interfaced with several third-party vendors to provide additional functionality, such as user-generated social media content via the integration with Olapic.

From a visual and UX perspective, the new site design focuses on highlighting the quality of the products. From the visual display to the designer stories, users are able to explore the various facets of Circa Lighting. A beautiful, flowing home page allows the user to seamlessly scroll through their options.

“The ability to scroll rather than constantly having to click into different pages brings Circa Lighting more into the omnichannel experience that they were missing with their old site,” said Amanda Robbins, Project Manager. “Even the little treatments, like subtle pricing on the product listing pages, help shoppers to fall in love with the lighting first and foremost.”

Another enhancement that Corra created involved Circa Lighting’s quote feature, offered to trade users and interior designers who present the products to their own clients. These trade users are able to see the pricing they’d receive, create a quote, edit the quote, and then convert it to an order and check out.

“It’s similar to a wishlist, but it’s a two-way sync with Magento and the ERP, so the user is always seeing the most up-to-date information,” said Amanda Campanella, Business Analyst. “This was something that Circa Lighting offered before, but we were able to really take it to the next level for them.”
