Corra Clients Win Big on Black Friday + Cyber Monday

Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the weekend in between mark a hugely important sales period for so many retailers. Merchants spend much of the year building up to these key days, and ensuring that all the planning goes off without a hitch is a concern for support providers like Corra.

For Corra’s TotalCare team, our top priority is to provide support to all the fashion, beauty and lifestyle merchants we work with. As the Black Friday and Cyber Monday numbers came in, some retailers shared their stories with us.

We are happy to report that all of our clients had successful weekends without any major website issues. Take a look at some of these notable wins from Black Friday and Cyber Monday:

Eileen Fisher
Iconic fashion label Eileen Fisher offered 20% off and a 20% off sweater sale for Black Friday. This carried through to Cyber Monday, when they also added a tiered gift card promotion. Site speed and performance stood strong throughout. The Eileen Fisher team encountered no issues, and reported being happy with the site’s overall performance during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

BH Cosmetics
As our team monitored beauty merchant BH Cosmetics this Cyber Monday, our VP of Engineering, Jacob John, noticed the staggering numbers coming in. He announced that this retailer processed more than 21,000 orders on Cyber Monday alone! Even with all those orders coming in, BH Cosmetics didn’t suffer any issues with site speed or performance – a real win.

Farm & Home Supply
After a great performance last holiday season, longtime client Farm & Home Supply once again saw impressive gains. Michael Badamo, Ecommerce Manager, was himself surprised by the YoY growth. “We were up 10x transactions from last year!” he said. “Like 5,000% increase in revenue. Crazy!”

BulbHead
Bulbhead offered a promotion of 25% off and free shipping throughout the Black Friday weekend and into Cyber Monday. Although shoppers came out big on Black Friday, Cyber Monday was the real star of the show for this retailer of unique lifestyle products. Bulbhead brought in nearly double the revenue on Cyber Monday than they did on Black Friday. Talk about a cyber success!

Avenue
On Black Friday, plus-size fashion brand Avenue offered a 50% off site-wide promotion that drove great results. Even with peak traffic climbing to 8,000 concurrent users, the Avenue site was able to handle the influx of shoppers, and showed strong conversion rates. “We were above plan and were happy with the site performance,” said Kristen St. Peter, Avenue’s Director of Ecommerce.
