Internet Retailer Lists Two Corra Clients Among Hot 100 e-Retailers of 2013

The Hot 100 are a select group of ecommerce sites that experts at Internet Retailer believe have broken new ground in some way that other e-retailers can learn from.  Each year it uses qualitative judgement to identify the leaders in ecommerce innovation.

Congratulations to Bonobos and Ten Thousand Villages for making Internet Retailer’s Hot 100 of 2013 list! is known for its quippy copy and bright, eye-catching images, but not for slow site performance or page load times. That’s thanks to their recent overhaul of the site’s product and category feeds engine. “Our category pages are now twice as fast as Amazon’s,” says user experience manager Jon Schlossberg….full story at Internet Retailer.

Ten Thousand Villages, winner of the 2012 Interactive Media Award in Ecommerce, relaunched on the Magento Enterprise Edition ecommerce platform, creating 70 separate sites for each of its physical stores, as well as a main ecommerce hub.  The handmade goods seller also reworked its inventory management system to include information across all its on- and offline locations, allowing an online shopper to check an item’s in-store availability. Ten Thousand Villages also redesigned its site include profiles of the artisans who craft its products, complete with rich images and videos….full story at Internet Retailer.
