Corra Celebrates 10 Years in India

Corra recently celebrated the 10 year anniversary of opening offices in India. The two Corra locations in Kochi and Bangalore are hubs for our outstanding development team, who work hand-in-hand with our US and UK-based teams in creating exceptional ecommerce websites for our clients.

At Corra, we are proud of the fact that we don’t white label or outsource our development work. Everyone in our India offices is a Corra employee who has been trained and set up for success as a member of our global team.

“Our decision 10 years ago to invest in a wholly-owned India operation stimulated the process-centered, collaborative service delivery organization we have today,” said CEO Ron Bongo. “Ecommerce projects and support demand speed and real-time collaboration among a diverse set of internal creative, strategy and technology teams. For the past 10 years, the need for these teams to work efficiently and effectively together across borders forced us to invent and perfect proprietary processes.”

It is these processes that have been a cornerstone of Corra’s business, and a large component of our growth and expansion. After running a global, multi-office organization for more than a decade, our leadership team has seen it all. We’ve worked through the issues associated with timezones and cultural complexities to make a cohesive, collaborative team that delivers the highest quality results.

“Looking back, I would say the core Corra strength of delivering on time and with high quality to our clients had been with us from day one,” said Jacob John, VP of Engineering in India. “Today Corra is a true global organization, and the India team represents a group of highly talented and motivated engineers working for our clients’ success.”

Corra is now comprised of six offices around the world with clients on four continents. The India team has been integral to that success, and we all look forward to what the next 10 years will bring!
