This year’s Shop.org Annual Summit was as huge as ever, with 5600+ attendees, 200+ booths, 40+ sessions, and immeasurable insights into the future of online and omni-channel retail. As always, our team set out to highlight the conference’s most valuable takeaways in a recap blog. But noticing well over 2000 tweets flowing in over the Summit’s 2.5 days,  we thought we’d just let Twitter take this one.  Below are the harsh truths, inspiring insights, and humorous tidbits brought in by #shoporg13.

Day 1–

Day 1 started with a surprise (speech by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel), ended as expected (mobile mobile mobile), and gave a few chuckles in between (apparently, “3 out of 5 people would rather clean a toilet than make a new password”).

Day 2–

Day 2 continued with hot retail topics from Saks Fifth Avenue, HSN, and Trunk Club (and also a few pop culture references…see if you can spot them!). Did you hear? “75% of people touch their smartphone before their spouse in the morning.” #themoreyouknow
