‘Tis the Season: Holiday Shopping

Remember standing in long lines outside big box retail stores on Black Friday waiting to get the discount of a lifetime? Nowadays it’s more common to see shoppers swarming to ecommerce sites on Cyber Monday (and all throughout the holiday season) for deals and steals. Holiday shopping habits have, without a doubt, been evolving over the years. It’s just up to forward-thinking retailers to keep up with the trends.

A recent survey by Burst Media showed that 92% of holiday shoppers plan to go online to either research or purchase gifts this year. With that kind of traffic, it’s incredibly important to not only have a high performing ecommerce site for home shoppers, but also a viable mobile strategy for in-store researchers.
