Corra Q&A: All About SAP Hybris

2 Min Read
Sasha Butkovich

While we have partnered with SAP Hybris in the past, we’re excited to be increasing our service offerings for the platform and earning additional certifications. It’s a great time to be diving deeper into what this platform has to offer. With the unique Accelerators offered by native SAP Hybris, this solution is perfect for retailers who value speed to market, and more. Additionally, the Corra team is working on creating our own proprietary Accelerator for fashion clients, which we’re excited to unveil later this year.

To find out more about the growing partnership between SAP Hybris and Corra, I sat down with Rachel Weir, Chief Client Officer, and Martina England, Director of Global Strategic Alliances for a brief Q&A.

SAP Hybris is known as a B2B solution, but is it a good fit for other retailers?

Martina:
In many cases, yes. While many people still equate SAP Hybris with B2B, Corra knows that fashion, beauty and lifestyle retailers have challenging and complicated ecosystems as well. In order to meet their customers’ expectations, these retailers must offer a comprehensive digital experience that can benefit from the features and functionality the platform provides. In addition, SAP Hybris’s commitment to the General Business sector with their investment in training, marketing and salesforce around that space parallels Corra’s commitment to like clients and prospects.

What exactly makes SAP Hybris a standout solution?

Rachel:
With their Commerce Cloud offering, SAP Hybris is able to provide amazing personalized retail experiences right out of the box. This platform fills a gap in the fashion and lifestyle verticals that retailers will really respond to. They are uniquely positioned to digitize and improve the multiple dimensions of commerce for retailers – from merchandising and marketing to inventory and product information – across all channels and in-store experiences.

Anyone in retail knows how important it is to create a consistent customer experience across all touch points that leaves the user delighted. Actually delivering on that is the challenge retailers face. SAP Hybris is a platform that can seamlessly deliver that “wow” moment to your customer from one system, making it easier to create those moments over and over again.

Why is now the time for Corra to expand this partnership?

Rachel:
With over six years of experience creating and developing complex systems for big conglomerates and well-known retailers like Sherwin Williams before focusing exclusively on commerce projects in 2008, Corra knows what it’s like to implement multi-faceted operations. Our project management office is trained in the principles of PMP, key in delivering a project that touches a multitude of stakeholders, departments and programs. The processes we have in place are primed to incorporate SAP Hybris, and deliver measurable results for those clients.

Why is specializing in multiple platforms important for Corra and our clients?

Martina:
Now in our 15th year in business, we can look back and clearly see that the driving goal behind Corra has been to become a best-in-class agency for our clients. Although this has taken a few forms over the years as we evolved into a true digital commerce agency, the foundation of our effort has always been the desire to create quality projects that create real results. As the industry becomes more diverse and sophisticated, that desire for quality creates a need to diversify our ecosystem to ensure we are offering the best technology portfolio available to the brands and retailers we work with. Growing our SAP Hybris practice is a key part of that.
