Director of Optimization, Personalization and Analytics

Corra is seeking a dynamic leader to become its Director of Optimization, Personalization and Analytics. We are looking for someone who has at least 5-7 years of experience directly managing multi-person teams at an e-commerce brand or retailer who can both support and grow the team we have, but also serve as an in-house expert on optimization campaign strategy, A/B/Multivariate testing, segmentation, SEO best practices, tag management and journey building. You are an expert in your field. You have a deep understanding of site conversion metrics and tools; you can dazzle a client with insightful recommendations on how to optimize and personalize their site; you provide oversight and input into strategic client roadmaps.

The primary goal of this position is to continue building a world-class professional services team focused on driving client ecommerce success through website Optimization, Personalization, SEO and the sophisticated application of Analytics and Data Science.

As a Director reporting to the VP of Digital Transformation, you will manage a multi-disciplinary team, develop and recruit team members, and actively collaborate with Corra’s other Delivery departments including Engineering, Design, Solution Strategy, and Project Management to deliver true end-to-end services across the entire digital commerce project life cycle. You will also work closely with Sales to support ongoing business development efforts. You must demonstrate a successful track record of building, leading, and motivating a high growth and fast-paced team and delivering successful projects in complex situations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver services based on Optimization and Personalization that demonstrate the strong, positive financial returns for clients who apply these practices to their businesses
  • Evangelize and explain the benefits of Optimization and Personalization in both client and sales settings
  • Lead, manage and develop a team of winning services professionals serving a large and disparate client base
  • Collaborate with other department heads on issues such as resource allocation, project scheduling, and identifying opportunities to deliver additional services
  • Identify and drive new initiatives to improve performance and efficiency of the department
  • Ensure any client issues are resolved quickly, leveraging resources from across the company as needed
  • Monitor and manage key department metrics such as utilization rates and client satisfaction
  • Plan resource needs and allocations to support a growing book of business while maintaining client satisfaction and department profitability
  • Train, retain and recruit department staff
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure successful selling and scoping of relevant professional services, including hands-on deal involvement in key prospect sales pursuits
  • Contribute to developing new and innovative strategy service offerings focused on omnichannel and digital commerce
  • Maintain Corra’s culture and reputation for excellence in professional services
  • Actively participate in the achievement of corporate strategic and operational goals
  • Be recognized as a valuable and trusted teammate by other department heads and Delivery teams as well as other functional areas within Monetate
  • Provide executive project & program oversight and client communication
  • Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5-7 years of hands-on ecommerce experience at a brand or retailer leading a Strategic or Product focused team
  • Experience with key Optimization and Personalization tools (Monetate, Optimizely, Adobe Target)
  • Demonstrated expertise in SEO, Tag Management and Data Analytics a must
  • Passion for client, portfolio and team management
  • Passion for technology and innovation
  • Passion for ecommerce and omnichannel digital commerce
  • Experience in assisting with pre-sales engagements driving services revenue
  • Track record of successfully collaborating with sales teams
  • The ability to strategically guide and manage complex customer relationships

  • Experience working with / within a professional services delivery for a software company, agency, or consulting firm a plus
  • Experience with Atlassian’s Jira issue management tool is a plus
  • MS Office Suite proficiency required
