Business Development Representative-Strategic Accounts

We are currently hiring a Business Development Representative – Strategic Accounts to join our Marketing Team. This person will seek out and qualify new business opportunities by developing relationships with potential customers in target accounts. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads and meeting sales quotas.

The ideal candidate must have outstanding communications skills, both verbal and written, attention to detail, and experience driving business through calling and email. Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities within strategic target accounts

  • Employ established sales strategy designed to push beyond gatekeepers, delivering tailored messaging that engages key decision makers

  • Research strategic accounts, keeping CRM accurate with up-to-date contact and business information

  • Act as the face of Corra, demonstrating and communicating an extensive knowledge of our solution offerings creatively and effectively

  • Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, and other methods of communication

  • Consistently meet quarterly/annual SQL and opportunity goals

  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects and clients

  • Set up meetings between qualified prospects and Regional Sales Directors

  • Report weekly sales metrics to the Director of Business Development

  • Stay up-to-date with new services offerings

Requirements

  • 3-5 years proven experience as a Business/Sales Development Representative or similar role

  • Experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling and objection management

  • Demonstrated success in reaching decision makers and quickly determining a qualified sales opportunity

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills

  • Experience in consultative selling or strategic planning

  • Must have a confident, competitive, eager, and positive attitude

  • Ability to report sales performance metrics

  • Salesforce experience preferred

  • Ecommerce industry sales experience a plus
