Corra is currently hiring a Senior/Lead Resource Manager who will be responsible for securing the right people, in the right place, at the right time to ensure the delivery of solutions for our clients while maintaining high utilization and staffing efficiency to keep Corra profitable. This position requires someone with an analytical, thoughtful and solutions-oriented mindset that isn’t afraid to tackle issues and conflicts head on, and has extensive familiarity with using/creating/updating reports and enterprise resource planning systems. This position will report to the Director of Resource Management and is key to help us strategically position the company for success and growth in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Project/Delivery Managers and Department Directors to perform detailed resource planning and scheduling in MavenLink. Get the right people in the right seats at the right place and right time!

  • Help own and maintain internal resourcing databases, tools and forms (i.e., MavenLink profiles/schedules, Issues lists, hiring/contracting forms)

  • Monitor and proactively manage efficient utilization and billable actuals for resources to keep the company on target.

  • Investigate, identify and solve any problems related to current or future forecasted low utilization.

  • Own and lead resourcing sync meetings with Dept. Directors and Project/Program/Delivery managers, taking detailed notes and action items.

  • De-escalate and solve urgent resourcing concerns for accounts and internal projects.

  • Champion resourcing best practices and processes with internal business partners and recommend and proactively roll out improved practices and processes for the future.

  • Develop, maintain and automate resourcing dashboards, scorecards and reports to help proactively manage KPI’s (i.e., utilization, productivity, profitability)

  • Assist Director of Resource Management in capacity and labor-cost forecasting for future quarters.

  • Make data-based decisions and recommendations for future hiring and contracting plans.

  • Assist Dept. Directors in efficiently staffing their people, proactively recommend hiring and contracting solutions for upcoming resourcing gaps.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years Resource Management/Staffing/Capacity Planning -OR- Project/Program Management experience in an agency or professional services environment. eCommerce agency experience a plus.

  • Ability to multi-task, organize and self-manage in a fast-paced environment.

  • Level-headed personality with proven ability to de-escalate situations and bring people from competing viewpoints to actionable solutions and common ground.

  • Extensive Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets experience (filters, pivot tables, if-statements, sumifs/countifs, lookups, conditional formatting)

  • Extensive experience using Enterprise Resource Planning/Scheduling systems (e.g. Oracle, Workday, Changepoint, Clarity, SAP, Financial Force, Jira etc.) Experience with MavenLink a big plus.

  • Experience reporting/creating dashboards in enterprise Business Intelligence suites (e.g. OBIEE, Cognos, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Experience with VBA/Macros, GS scripts, a scripting language such as Python/R or writing custom SQL queries a plus.

  • Experience calculating, managing and forecasting industry standard Resource Management/Staffing KPI’s such as Utilization, Productivity and Billability.

  • Extensive experience working in a distributed team environment, utilizing remote productivity/screen sharing tools (webex, Zoom, Skype, Slack).

  • Experience with Jira/Trello and certified scrum master a big plus.

  • Financial management experience a big plus (creating/managing P&L’s, Cost/Revenue Forecasting, Budgeting, Labor Costs analysis, Margin analysis)
